London Concertante Launches Christmas At The Movies Album

London Concertante returns to Leeds this winter with Christmas Movies by Candlelight, performed in the striking, candlelit surroundings of Leeds Minster on 5 December 2025.

The Leeds concert will showcase music from Home Alone, Love Actually, Elf, The Polar Express, White Christmas, A Christmas Carol, The Holiday, The Snowman, It’s a Wonderful Life and other Christmas favourites. The programme features arrangements created specifically for London Concertante.

Two days before the performance, the ensemble releases a new studio album of the live show, Christmas at the Movies, available from 1 December 2025 via CMG Records.

It follows the phenomenal success of London Concertante’s “Christmas at the Movies” tour, which has travelled more than 100,000 miles and performed to over half a million audience members since 2019; this recording allows listeners to relive the warmth and joy of the live experience at home.

Demand has grown every season, and they’ve become a feature of people’s festive traditions — often bringing together three generations of the same family for a night out. People leave with smiles on their faces and a festive glow about them. This album is our way of bottling that atmosphere — a way for audiences to take it home and relive it whenever they wish.
