Iron Maiden Announce EDDFEST A Two-Day Fan Extravaganza At Knebworth Park

Iron Maiden are to headline a specially created festival event at Knebworth Park this year, promising fans what the band are calling "a Maiden World" built around their 50-year career.

Dubbed EDDFEST — a nod to the band's iconic mascot Eddie — the weekend event opens on Friday afternoon and culminates on Saturday with what promoters are billing as the last UK show Maiden will play until at least 2028.

Beyond the main stage, the site will feature Maidenville, a themed area housing Eddie's Dive Bar, an unfair funfair with Eddie-themed rides and games, merchandise and an array of interactive experiences. The centrepiece is the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience, a walk-through exhibition of stage props and memorabilia drawn from across the band's history, inspired by the Sunday Times bestselling book of the same name.

Friday night campers gain early access to the site and the museum, along with a full evening of entertainment on the Maidenville second stage, featuring sets from Stray, Maiden United, Airforce, Tony Moore's Awake and Hair Metal Glamageddon — all acts with connections to the Maiden story.

Saturday's main stage bill opens with The Almighty, followed by Australian rockers Airbourne, Mongolian metal outfit The Hu and The Darkness, before Iron Maiden close the weekend.

The event has been put together with Kilimanjaro promoters Stuart Galbraith and Alan Day, who previously worked with Maiden on the Sonisphere festival. Planet Rock is among the event's partners.

Camping, glamping and motorhome pitches are available on site for the full weekend.
