Love Again (12a)
Director James C. Strouse (Grace is Gone) directs this romantic comedy remake of the 2016 German film SMS für Dich. The film sees the woman Mira (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) struggling to deal with the death of her fiancee, and as she sends a series of romantic texts to his old number, soon finds it has been re-assigned to journalist Rob (Sam Heughan), who receives these texts and is drawn to Mira’s honesty and heart, and as he is currently assigned to writing a feature about singer Celine Dion (who plays a fictionalised version of herself in the film), he seeks her help in seeking Mira out in real life. Co-starring the likes of Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Celia Imrie and Nick Jonas, Love Again is a film of heart and hope, that many rom/com fans won’t want to miss.
