Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid star in this sci-fi-tinged horror from director Drew Hancock, that sees a weekend getaway turn violent when a human companionship android goes wrong. Twisting, intelligent and at time satirically sharp, this acclaimed treat is a film full of surprises which delivers something unexpected and is a genre-spliced joy.

Jason Reitman (Up In The Air, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) directs this insightful and wild comedy/drama that sees tensions raise through the roof as an ambitious producer and an eclectic collection of young comedians and writers prepare for the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 11, 1975. True life inspired and yet unbelievable, Saturday Night is a nostalgic celebration of the roots of one of television’s most enduring and iconic creations.

This thrilling drama is based on frightening true events, as director Tim Fehlbaum unleashes a tense and high stakes depiction of the 1972 Munich Olympics, as an American sports broadcasting crew finds themselves covering a hostage crisis involving Israeli athletes, and being faced with some important decisions of ethics, truth and consequence. Critically acclaimed as a human yet taut depiction of a high wire moment in history and a stunning depiction of dedicated journalism and the moral choices it can bring, September 5 is a film not to be missed.
