Showaddywaddy 50th Anniversary Tour
With the iconic Teddy-boy style dating back to 1973, Showaddywaddy is back and as brilliant as ever! With an endless jukebox of songs, vivacious choreography and dazzling outfits - what isn’t there to love?
Showaddywaddy certainly rocked Bradford last night, showering us with sweet music. With incredible showmanship from Andy Pelos and Billy Shannon, it was a marvel to watch them play. Without a doubt they had the crowd hopping and bobbing along to classic songs such as
Under The Moon of Love and
Hey Rock n’ Roll.
It was a pleasure to see Romeo Challenger, an original member of Showaddywaddy, performing incredibly well and a joy to see that the band still captures the hearts of the young and old.
With heavy beats and electrifying guitars, St George’s Hall was certainly shaking and quaking, not just from the music but the audience too. It was fair to say the people of Bradford danced the night away.
With ten songs reaching the top ten singles, I certainly could not miss this opportunity to see one of the greatest rock n roll bands. Showaddywaddy delivered an excellent set of songs
Three Steps to Heaven and
Heartbeat, it was impossible to stop clapping to the beat.
As Doo-Wop’s and Shoo-Wop’s echoed on the four walls of the hall, combined with the audience cheering and screaming, the atmosphere was truly ecstatic.
For two hours of great energy and performance, it was no surprise that Showaddywaddy received a well deserved standing ovation.
They were absolutely fantastic and provided great entertainment for all ages.
What a brilliant way to celebrate the 50th anniversary, by doing what they do best – Rocking and Rolling!
