Tiny Engines' first signing out of the UK has made quite an impression. With their first album released in the summer this year, these Yorkshire lads are up and down the UK, returning to Leeds on the 1st October at the top-class venue Brudenell Social Club.
With Tiny Engines' production and promotion, everyone was eager to feel their sound. Nostalgic, hazy feelings are the vibe you get when listening to Walleater. Soft, catchy guitar riffs complimented by Rob's droning vocals, it makes them easy on the ear.
With many branding 'grunge' as a dead genre, I feel this band do it justice. Though defined as indie there's a definite grunge influence from this young band.
With only eight songs released officially at the moment - I have a feeling it is only going to take one more single to make these guys a hit.
Check them out:
7th September - Nottingham, JT Soar
9th September - London, Power Lunches
1st October - Leeds, Brudenell Games Room
3rd October - Southsea, Dials Festival
