Royal Blood
Reading and Leeds

Paul Stimpson, Features Writer

Brighton's best export is back in the UK for two exclusive festival performances showcasing another type of rock - and it is not the sweet kind.

They shook the foundations of music last year - especially during festival season - as they tore the roof of every tent they were booked to play in. After their incredible sell out tour, touring the world and opening up for the Foo Fighters - Royal Blood are back on home turf with bang.

It is most definitely a coup for Reading & Leeds festival that the Brighton duo are signed to this festival only in the UK this year - there will be no better opportunity to see the raw, face melting riffs again as they make their step up from a mid-level tent booking with a justly huge hype to blowing the minds of mainstream main stage dwellers.

You better desert the main arena if you fancied a chilled afternoon meal in the setting sun with these guys around - be there with bells on. Saturday at Reading 18:25pm and Sunday at Leeds 17:45pm - be there.
